The Vario handling key is a special tool with interchangeable keys for opening and closing clamps on house connection lines valves as well as hydrants both above and below ground.
The design has been selected so that the handling key is manageable and comfortable to use.
As a result of the handling key being height-adjustable the user can use it while standing up. Additional torque can be generated by pulling out the extendable T-handle.
Interchangeable keys enable the handling key to be used for different valves. Starting with slide valves and hydrants, to house connection lines and tapping valves right up to special valves with special adaptors. Every interchangeable key is fitted with a spring catch, making it easy to change keys with just a few steps.
An upright posture is essential for being able to open and close valves safely and with little effort. As a result of its pipe within a pipe construction the user can adjust the key with a single manual action of the internal spring catch so that it is the right height for him to use. The result of having the key at the right length is greater stability and that force can be applied just where it is needed.
The extensions arms fitted to both ends of the extendable T-handle are easy to pull out with double-sided spring catches. The greater leverage achieved as a result of pulling out the extendable T-handle arms enables more force to be applied. This is just what is needed and very useful for valves which are difficult to access and make work much easier.
